COMMUNITY RULES

Treat all members respectfully, regardless of their background, nationality, opinions, gaming experience, or role within the community.

Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, slurs, threats, or targeted attacks against individuals or groups are prohibited.

Do not bully, intimidate, provoke, humiliate, or repeatedly target other members. Friendly jokes are acceptable only when everyone involved is comfortable with them.

Do not deliberately create arguments, spread rumours, provoke conflicts, or encourage members to turn against one another.

Respect when someone does not want to participate in a conversation, joke, game, or interaction. Do not repeatedly pressure or bother them.

Treat regular members, moderators, administrators, and community owners with appropriate respect. Having a higher role does not justify disrespectful behaviour.

Avoid excessive repeated messages, unnecessary character spam, message flooding, excessive emoji spam, or disruptive repeated mentions.

Sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate NSFW material is prohibited throughout the server.

Post messages, images, videos, links, and discussions in their appropriate channels. Avoid repeatedly disrupting conversations with unrelated content.

Do not advertise other Discord servers, websites, social media accounts, services, products, or communities without prior staff permission.

Phishing links, fraudulent offers, malicious downloads, account-stealing attempts, suspicious promotions, and deceptive activities are strictly prohibited.

Avoid excessive disruptive capitalisation, mention abuse, inappropriate content, and behaviour intended to interrupt normal conversations.

Respect individual channel guidelines, topic restrictions, slow mode, and other server-specific communication settings.

Do not intentionally use excessively loud microphones, distorted audio, disruptive sound effects, or other audio intended to disturb members.

Do not repeatedly abuse soundboards, music bots, voice effects, or similar features to interrupt conversations.

Avoid unnecessary background noise, microphone feedback, constant shouting, or excessively loud music.

Do not continuously interrupt, dominate conversations, deliberately disrupt calls, or bother members who are having private discussions.

Always obtain permission from everyone involved before recording voice conversations, video calls, streams, or other private interactions.

Do not redistribute private recordings, screenshots, images, or clips of members without their permission, except when submitting relevant evidence privately to staff for a legitimate moderation report.

Sharing, publishing, threatening to expose, or requesting someone's private personal information without permission is strictly prohibited.

Do not threaten members, encourage harassment, promote targeted intimidation, or use personal information to frighten or manipulate others.

Never request or share passwords, authentication codes, account credentials, private addresses, financial information, or other sensitive personal information.

Do not distribute private messages, screenshots, personal photographs, or confidential conversations without the consent of the people involved.

Do not impersonate other members, staff, community owners, organisations, or trusted individuals to deceive others.

Report suspicious accounts, scams, malicious links, harassment, security concerns, or other dangerous behaviour to the moderation team.

Do not threaten, harass, intimidate, or target someone for reporting a legitimate concern to staff.

Do not use cheats, unauthorised modifications, exploits, or other unfair methods to gain an improper advantage in community-organised games or events.

Do not intentionally destroy another player's creations, sabotage gameplay, disrupt event activities, or interfere with another member's legitimate participation.

Follow the rules and instructions provided by event organisers and moderators during Minecraft events and other community activities.

Do not intentionally ruin matches, interrupt competitions, abuse event mechanics, or repeatedly disrupt other participants.

Winning or losing does not justify harassment, personal attacks, toxicity, or unnecessary arguments.

Additional rules may apply to individual Minecraft servers, events, competitions, and other organised gaming activities. Always follow the relevant instructions provided by the organisers.

Members are expected to cooperate with reasonable moderation instructions and server management decisions.

Do not deliberately disrupt moderation processes, publicly provoke staff, or turn moderation discussions into unnecessary arguments.

Depending on the severity, context, and frequency of a violation, staff may take actions including:

• 🥀Verbal or formal warnings.
• 🥀Message removal.
• 🥀Temporary timeouts or mutes.
• 🥀Removal from voice channels.
• 🥀Temporary kicks.
• 🥀Temporary or permanent bans.

Repeatedly breaking the rules may result in stronger disciplinary action, even when individual incidents appear relatively minor.

Severe incidents involving threats, doxxing, serious harassment, malicious activity, or significant safety concerns may result in immediate disciplinary action.

Do not use alternate accounts, other members, or external accounts to bypass timeouts, kicks, bans, or other moderation restrictions.

Members who believe a moderation decision was incorrect may respectfully appeal through the designated support channel or contact the appropriate staff members.

Do not deliberately submit fabricated evidence, make malicious reports, or misuse moderation procedures to target other members.

All members must comply with Discord's Terms of Service.

Discord's Community Guidelines apply to all activity conducted through the server.

Members must respect applicable laws and regulations.

Respect personal privacy, intellectual property, copyright, and the rights of content creators.

Violations of Discord policies may result in separate enforcement actions taken directly by Discord, independently of any action taken by Scarlet Shadow staff.
